Des Lane

During his career in the Central Bank of Ireland, Des has held senior roles in facilities management, Cash Issuance, Strategic Planning and HR.  More recently, he led the team that developed the operating model for the Central Bank’s new HQ in North Wall Quay in 2017. He is currently Head of Workplace Services.

Holding an MBA from Henley Business School and a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Irish Management Institute and UCC, he is also an ECR© practitioner.

Des is motivated to help people to be the best that they can be.  His coaching philosophy is based on listening, providing clients with space away from the work environment to think about what is important to them and exploring options that allow them to achieve their goals.

He has been involved with the GAA all his life and was a member of the Meath team that won back-to-back All Ireland titles in 1987 and 1988.  When he finished playing Des quickly became involved in coaching and managing teams at all levels and currently manages his club’s senior team, Simonstown Gaels in Meath.

Des’s experience in business, sport and team dynamics adds great value to individuals and teams seeking to identify challenges or opportunities and realise potential through pragmatic coaching support.
