Lucia O'Riordan QFA LIB

Lucia joined Liam in Motivility as CEO in early 2020. Prior to this, she spent over 20 years in the banking and life assurance sectors, working in both Bank of Ireland and AIB.

She left banking in 2019 to focus on her passion – working with individuals and businesses to grow, overcome challenges and reach their potential. Before departing AIB, she was a Senior Executive heading up the Retail Bank in Dublin South Central.

Throughout her banking career she held many senior roles, managing some of the largest AIB branches, leading the sales and service teams across the branch network in Dublin and taking the lead in many large-scale change projects. Prior to Branch Banking, Lucia spent a number of years in Wealth Management and Private Banking and was part of the pioneering team which brought Private Banking services to the Retail Bank.

Lucia has vast experience working with SME’s, helping them develop strategies to pivot, diversify and grow their businesses. She has also worked closely with universities and Innovation Centres supporting start-ups, and industry bodies and networking groups representing business, many of which she introduced to AIB for further collaboration.

Lucia holds a Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching (IMI/UCC) and is a Qualified Financial Advisor (IOBI/UCD). She sat on the Council of Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce for five years and was a member of IBEC’s Dublin and Mid-East Regional Executive Council. She is a member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and is an accredited LIFT facilitator and an ECR© practitioner.

When not coaching, she takes every opportunity to escape to the warmer climes of the south-east of Spain, where she revels in the culture and food.
